South East Smoke Vent has recently completed a smoke ventilation system in dagenham in a former day hospital which has been converted into temporary accomodation for a large housing association.

The specification for us was quite a straightforward one, we had 3 smoke shafts fitted over 3 floors in protected areas which we fitted our bespoke Smoke Dampers, on the stairwells we utilised the existing windows & fitted Windowmaster Motors & at the top of the smoke shaft we used Velux windows with Windowmaster motors fitted to them.

Our Smoke Dampers are bespoke built here in the UK & fully tested & available in bespoke sizes with any RAL Colour available for the Grilles.

These were controlled by our Haes AOV controllers which we helped design & build with Haes Systems. In turn these were linked to the house fire system for control.
